A charter boat operator in Martinique gets involved with the French resistance and a beautiful woman during WWII. Edmond O'Brien and Beverly Garland reprise the roles created by Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in which Bacall delivers the famous "whistle" phrase culminating with, "Just put your lips together and blow." The Lux Radio Hour was on the air for 16 years as a weekly dramatic series when it moved to TV. Based on the novel by Ernest Hemingway. First broadcast The show ran from October 2, 1950 to September 12, 1957.
