Richard Greene plays Robin Hood, the dashing hero of Sherwood Forest in this adventure series set in medieval England. Robin Hood robs the rich and gives to the poor, liberates oppressed peasants and rescues maidens - all to the exasperation of the evil sheriff of Nottingham. Three episodes on one volume:
- RANSOM - Five hundred crowns is a great deal of money, but that's the sum taken from the villagers by Count Severne to pay the ransom for his kidnapped son. The serfs appeal to Robin and Little John for help. Guest Stars: Paul Daneman, Robert Raglan.
- CHILDREN OF THE GREENWOOD - Freeman Arthur A'Bland flees a false murder charge that means death. His children, Alice & Oswald, are taken by the men-at-arms of Lord Fitzurse. In the castle they are treated harshly by the lord. A'Bland joins Robin, and together they plan a rescue. Guest Stars: Jane Asher, Peter Asher.
- THE MAY QUEEN - After refusing to join a scheme to steal land, a young Knight’s marriage to Nottingham’s May Queen is canceled and his lands could fall forfeit. A tournament to settle the matter is arranged which might give Robin a chance to help. Guest Stars: Gillian Sterrett, Ian Bannen.
